6 Months = half a year!

Dear Zoe,

This is my first official blog letter to you. Today you are 6 months old already!! It seems like just yesterday you were born into this world. 10 weeks early, but quite a feisty fighter! Mama is amazed at how fast time has flown by. I think about everything that has happened in the past 6 months, and I then realize why it went so fast. Watching you grow is quite amazing! You are officially teething! I can feel sharpness in your gums, especially when you decide, ever so lovingly, to gnaw on my chin. Then you look at me and smile when I say, "Ouch!"
You are turning into quite a little beauty! You take after your mama. :) You are standing with help, which, is pretty great to watch! You get so excited about this, which makes everyone witnessing this laugh. You love exploring each new food that mama spoons in your mouth. I caught you last night. It was almost as if you were savoring the applesauce. You were sucking on your tongue, which of course was so *cute*. You are rolling over, but still need to learn to roll from back to front, which will come soon enough. See, I know how fast babies, like you develop, because I witnessed it with your big sissy. I have learned to savor and cherish every moment, because you are growing ever so quickly. Zoe, you are the easiest baby in the world to take care of!!! And, for this, I am thrilled! I can honestly say that I would have more kids if they were all like you as babies. haha. But, shhhh, don't tell your daddy I said that. ;) You sleep completely through the night. Every night. Down at 8:30pm and up between 8:00 and 10:00am. {Thank you Lord for giving her my sleep genes}. haha. Not rushing you, but I do look forward to what the future holds for you. Mama and daddy will be here for you *always*. And... your sissy too, *of course*! I can't wait to see you and Angelina together when you get older! You 2 will have a *life long* friendship. At least I pray for that! I see myself in you, and love every second of everyday, because I get to be your mama! {And definitely because I get to be Angelina's mama}. So much sweetness fills our house daily, and I love it!

I love you Zoe, *always*

Love, *Mama*

So, Angelina used a pacifier, and man was that a complete nightmare to get rid of. Now, Zoe. She won't take a pacifier. Thank goodness, but, we have a *thumb sucker* instead. :)

Breathtaking!

I am gearing up for Saturday's March of Dimes WalkAmerica walk. I found these pictures of preemies, and it brought back A LOT of memories! These pictures are incredible, and more so are the babies themselves!! To see the pictures, click here.

Sunday Night *Hello*

Just wanted to say *hello*.

Hope you all had a GREAT Sunday! North Carolina is having a wonderful storm right now, and it's pouring down rain, so I am *happy*!!! Kiddos are down for the night, and now it's *me and Mike* time. He is going out of town tomorrow and not getting back til Saturday... LOTS to get done while he is away. Not looking forward to a week without my wonderful hubby, but, we'll get through it! :)

I {HEART} North Carolina!!

So, I went out today to photograph bits and pieces of North Carolina that I love. Please note that I never went more than a mile from my house!!! I think the highlight of my day, besides seeing *horses*, was an old man on his riding lawn mower. He must have been at least 75 years old... but, the highlight of that was not the old man himself, but his tiny dog sitting on his lap as he was mowing. It was so *cute*! It inspired me to laugh hysterically and made me realize that I would of never seen that in California! That old man and his "hitch hiker" reminded me just how much *I heart North Carolina*!!

Other reasons, I heart NC, and believe you all should move here?
*Our state Farmer's Market ROCKS!!
*Can you say {thunder storms}? Yes, we have the best!!
*People are so nice!!
*Not expensive to live here
*Did I mention the great and *beautiful* storms we get? Can you tell I love a good storm? LOL
*Most homes have at least a 1/2 acre of land
***Do I really need to go on?***

Oh, and the seasons are great, and the weather is great too! Some snow... if we're lucky! :) So, now that I have sold you, come on down to NC! HA HA HA!! ;)

Enjoy the pictures!!

*Horse Noses* Love 'Em!

I kid you not, this bull is {literally} the size of a Mini Cooper!! He is *Huge*

*OUCH*

Aren't tire swings *fantastic*? They totally remind me of {summer time}

YES, OK! I *LOVE* HORSES!! :)

{NIGHT}

*oh, by the way, check out my Stick Horses blog... there is a new scrapbook layout posted*

Samantha, Mike and Angelina

Samantha, Mike and Angelina, originally uploaded by Moon and Back.

This picture and the one below were taken a couple of years ago. But, this is all I have... picture wise. For now at least. Just wanted to add in Angelina and Zoe's other "half" sibling. Angelina definitely doesn't see it that way, though! Sam is her other sister, and that's that. ha ha! :)

*Sam* Angelina Misses you!!!

Sibling Similarity?

OK, so, my friend *Suzanne* asked me to post some baby pictures of *Angelina* so she and everyone else could see if there was a sibling similarity. :) Prepare for *lots* of pictures! And, don't forget to **Tell me what you think**

Don't think I need to say who is who, right?

OK, below is Zoe... Above is Angelina...

OK, Angelina above and Zoe below (I *swear* she has food on her face, but it's hard to see Carrots in this pic, I guess).

So, what do you think? They look alike?
