See This Movie...
Ok, so tonight Mike is out with his friends, which leaves me home with the girls alone... obviously! ha ha! Anyway. I rented this movie called, Broken Bridges. I declare it a *must see*!! :) It's really good! Not sure if the men would like it, but I know that many of you have husbands that go out of town... so see it then, and keep a box of kleenex handy!! Great Movie! ;)

::good day::
So, today is a good day. :) Nothing crazy has happened, it's just a good day. :) Mike took Angelina to school. I went to the gym with Zoe and worked out. (lost 1.5 pounds...yay). Came home, put her down for a nap, showered, ate lunch, and right now I am blogging, and watching a movie called Premonition. This movie is turning out to be *very* good. So good in fact that it is taking me too long to write this entry. LOL. Good thing I can type without looking at the keyboard. :)
Last night Mike and I watched the movie 300. Outstanding!! Mike immediately went to Best Buy yesterday, and bought it in Hi Definition. Must see this movie! :)
Oh, and A Thousand Splendid Suns... turning out to be a great book!! Khaled Hosseini is a great writer! If you have read *The Kite Runner* then definitely read this one too! :)

So, check out Zoe's new Jumparoo!! She got it yesterday, and she *loves* it! She was a little tired the second time I put her in it... hense the thumb in her mouth. It's really great seeing her in it, though! She gets so excited everytime she pushes off the ground herself. I would assume she is proud of herself. LOL.

Blood Diamond
OK, so Mike and I watched Blood Diamond tonight, and may I just say that it was an excellent movie. While it was violent, it brought a realization to me about the diamonds that this whole movie was centered around. It was unbelievable watching this movie, and seeing the horrible conditions and the horrible ways these people were treated, and all in the name of diamonds, and the money people payed for them.
Now, I really wonder where my diamond came from that is set in my wedding ring. While I will likely never know, this movie has really made me wonder just how many "blood diamonds" do get into this country...
Another thing that I took from this movie, is not taking what I have for granted!! This movie shows families torn apart, and children MADE to become rebel soldiers. These things really happen, and knowing this, makes me appreciate America so much more. Thank God for *freedom*, and the safety we have in our homes, and in our everyday lives!!
Really...If you haven't seen this movie, I definitely recommend it!!

That's it! We're movin to Wyoming!

Flicka means "pretty girl".
My husband went to dinner with "the guys" for dinner, which meant, a dinner and movie date with who? Me and my girls, of course! Made some spaghetti, and Angelina, Zoe and I sat on the couch to watch the movie, Flicka. We really weren't sure what we were about to get ourselves into, so we sat, open to whatever scenes played out for us.
Let me just say... this movie makes me want to pack up everything we own, put the house on the market and move to Wyoming!! For those of you that know me, you should know by now that I am nothing short of a horse FREAK! I LOVE horses! I always have. My entire life I have wanted nothing more than to have a husband, kids, a dog and some horses. I am well on my way, since I have a husband who wants to retire on a ranch... just wishing that it was sooner rather than later, I guess. But, it gives us something to look forward to! Although, an hour drive to and from school through the country... kinda actually sounds nice.
If you haven't seen this movie, it's on my MUST see movie list! Look on the right side of my blog for other recommended movies.
Whether you have a love for horses, for the outdoors, for your family or for a wild spirit! See this movie!! Just be ready for some tears. Here is the preview for the movie Flicka. Woman, prepare to be a blubbering mess, because I couldn't help but cry! It's a very touching movie!
And, at the bottom... the theme song of the movie, sung by Tim McGraw. If you have a daughter or, like me, 2 daughters, then this song will likely produce some tears. :)
